So, earlier this week, I posted a blog that said we had 17 weeks to go until Ironman Arizona (IMAZ), but we only had 16 weeks. Huge fail. How can I not know how many weeks we have? Sheesh.

I have gone back and edited that post, so it’s all good now.

It’s interesting thinking of something in terms of weeks-to-go. I find that I am measuring out my Hammer sports nutrition products by the number of long rides/runs I have left. And, I tell you, 15 weekends does not seem like enough weekends. But it will be what it will be.

This weekend we will go ride in Thurmont, MD to get in some hills. The following two weeks, we have fairly hilly long rides planned. And then, we will get back to flatter, long rides, leading up to ChesapeakeMan aqua bike (2.4 swim, 112 bike). That should give us a good idea of where we are at for those two legs of the IM. Running is the only final question. The run is the thing.

I feel that is where I really need to do some work yet. I hope I have time.
